Piaggio Vespa PX50

< Back >

The first Vespa, the Vespa 98, came on the market in 1946 and was nicknamed "Paperino" (duckling); she had 98 cc capacity and was a maximum of 60 km / h fast. Its inventor was Corradino D'Ascanio - an engineer whose dream it was to build helicopters. He developed the concept of the Vespa shortly after the end of the war on behalf of Enrico Piaggio , starting from a seated person around which he ordered the technology of the new two-wheeler.
